The past is gone and the future is yet to come …
Life is full of experiences. People come and go into our lives and all teach us a lesson.
Although at the time we do not notice these lessons, later on they all make sense.
Some love us, some hurt us, some teach us, some keep quiet and only watch us but they all take a part in our lives.
Forgiving is one of the most challenging behavior of all. It is not easy. Somebody hurts you and you feel upset, angry, maybe even want to take revenge and hurt back. What happens is; you just keep your mind busy with it and can not see what you miss on the way.
Try to forgive. In the beginning it will force your limits but end result will be satisfactory.
You will see how much freedom you give to yourself. Your focus will be other things then just anger, or sadness, or any other feelings.
I was hurt several times very badly. When people advised me to forgive I thought “ Are you crazy, how the hell can I do that? “ Then I decided to give a try. Of course the first attempts were not successful. I was saying it from outside but not feeling it inside, you know what I mean. I did not give up. In the end “ My God, what a relief that was”. I just set the anger free, all the sadness they caused me, all my wasted tears… That’s why I say; do yourself a big favor and FORGIVE….
The following affirmations will help you release yourself from pain of past events and also to clear and cleanse your mind. The past is gone and the future is yet to come….
• I forgive myself for being imperfect like everybody else. However, I still manage to live the best life that I can.
• As I forgive myself, it becomes easier to forgive others.
• I forgive everyone from my past and love myself now and in the future.
• Each day is a new opportunity. Today is the first day of my new life.
Blessings to you all,
